Hi, I have came across a problem in using the PA to display statistics for a serial circuit of the DECrouter 250 (i.e. circuit SERIAL-1). However, it works fine for the ethernet circuit of this router (i.e. circuit ETHER-1) The error is followed, "No counters in counter attribute partition" Can someone please confirm that if this is a limitation of the PA or something I have missed. Thanks Thien Doan

There is a problem with getting statistics for routers that support single links only. I think there is a note to that effect in this conference. | |||||

Thien, If you haven't already tried, RECORD the Circuit Counters/Char and Line Char. You will then be able to get PAST time STATS so this isn't a complete bust for your customer. I've tried it and the only problems I had were that the polls seemed to fail at a greater frequency, but if the counters are there, all works well. best regards, brad... |
