1680.0. "Administation of ASYNC PORT (DECServer)" by PADIS::PERIE () Mon Oct 21 1991 10:10

    Is it possible to "associate" an Access Module DECmcc to the
    Asynchronous Port off a DECServer ?
    I mean , to Init a connection between the Acces Module and the
    Asynchronous Port , to Send and Receive Messages to/from this Port...

    Thank you,
                                  Isabelle.

Because VMS allows you to perform "Reverse LAT", your MM may take advantage
of this and connect to a device plugged into a Terminal Server.

I've done this for a printer plugged into the Terminal Server. You have
to create an application port (modify LTLOAD.COM) -- then you will have
a device called "LTAxxx:" which you can read and write to like any other
terminal port.
