1598.0. "IMPM potential bugs ?" by TENERE::HAYES (A European Telecomet ...) Fri Oct 04 1991 06:11

		Hello ,

During the preparing periode for Telecom'91 I think we have found
some "minor" BUGS in DECmcc with my customer .

BUG1 : In the Iconic Map I wanted to Customize->Map.
			Sometimes I got the right window, but it was so SMALL
			that I couldn't even click any button (Cancel etc.)
			There were no scroll bars and no possibility(disabled)
			to enlarge/shrink the size of the window.

BUG2 : Due to the fact that DECmcc should be context sensitive,
			I have discovered a minor bug(?, or lack of
			functionality). When I enable an alarm, the
			notification are immediate. Without having selected
			any specific alarm by clicking on it, I am given the
			possibility :

				Operations->Display alarms

			which will give an error message because no alarm
			is selected.

	Is it already being worked out ?

	Kind regards

		Catherine

Catherine,

Regarding BUG1: What version of MCC are you using? Does it happen all the
		time or infrequently?

Regarding BUG2: Since I do not know what version you are running, I cannot
		describe behavior for that version, but I can describe the
		behavior as it is currently intended for V1.2:

		If no entities are selected, Display Alarms will show all
		alarms for the domain.

		If an entity is selected, Display Alarms will show all alarms
		for the entity. If the selected entity has no alarms, the
		message "No alarm data available" is popped up.

		Is this what you see?
