Hello, I seem to keep bumping into a problem when editing maps while running alarms in batch. If I change a map (ie add entities or move them) while alarms are running in batch with notification enabled, I often get an accvio. Sometimes this can be a simple error where nothing appears affected, but at times I receive dozens of map errors indicating event manager problems to notification being stopped on all the domains. Is this a known problem, and has anyone else experienced these errors??? best regards, brad...

1591.1 | Maybe | TOOK::GUERTIN | Don't fight fire with flames | Thu Oct 03 1991 15:23 | 8 |
Hi Brad, Yes, that does sound familar. There was a bug in the V1.1 kit for Iconic Map where if you clicked into a domain while it was in the process of changing color, it ACCVIOed. This may a variation on the same theme. Sorry, we do not have a patch for this problem. But, ask Bob Merrifield if he can help you out (TOOK:: MERRIFIELD). -Matt.
1591.2 | ok for now | JETSAM::WOODCOCK | Thu Oct 03 1991 17:58 | 11
Hi Matt, I could get along no problem for now so long as there is a fix for v1.2 assuming it's out in a month or so for f/t. Just figured I'd post it in case no one had seen it yet. Hopefully the problems are similar and the fix is in place. thanks, brad...

This might be caused by the same problem mentioned in note 1519, where the person was seeing "notification stopped for Domain" errors when they had notification started before the IMPM was brought up. Christine
