1574.0. "Internal error in phase iv am." by KETJE::VDKERCKHOVE (Never say NEVER) Wed Oct 02 1991 06:17
Is this a known problem ?
I was trying to setup DECnet IV event logging for a small demo of DECmcc
alarms. I did this from my own account, but using a proxy to the system account
I have (see below).
I was hoping that the enable command, when specifying BY USER = SYSTEM, would
create the MCC_DNA4_EVL process with the SYSTEMN UIC, and not my UIC. Murphy
was there however and it's only possible to enable it without the BY USER. This
creates the MCC_DNA4_EVL process with my UIC, and it can't communicate with the
EVL process, which runs under the system UIC.

| I have no idea why, but run it while logged into system, it is the
only way I have gotten it to work. I will flag this to the DNA team.
