I received the following error when do : $@SYS$STARTUP:MCC_STARTUP_DNA4_EVL.COM at line : SET node4 fesys local sink MONITOR name = MCC_DNA4_EVL Internal error in DECnet Phase IV AM. MCC Error = %MCC-E-ILVTNF, specified tag not found within current constructor What can I do to fix? It is BMS V1.1 that I am running. /Susan

I don't understand what the problem is, but that MUST be run from a privileged account (not one with set priv, but with privs always on by default). Then you problem goes away, or at least mine did. jill | |||||

Susan, Sorry, couldn't reply sooner. Thank you for your patience. Have you seen this behavior again? Have you got around this problem? Have you tried other SET command? Have you tried other SET command with by user and by password clauses? If what's stated in .1 is true, then V11 dna4_am has a bug not handlilng access control information correctly. What system is it that you're running on? Are you still using v1.1? Have you tried v1.2 using the same command? If the problem still persists, I like to reproduce it here with your help. Thank you.
