1573.0. "error when setting the sink monitor name" by HGSWS1::SUSANCHAN () Wed Oct 02 1991 04:03

I received the following error when do :
$@SYS$STARTUP:MCC_STARTUP_DNA4_EVL.COM

at line :
SET node4 fesys local sink MONITOR name = MCC_DNA4_EVL

Internal error in DECnet Phase IV AM.
MCC Error = %MCC-E-ILVTNF, specified tag not
                                          found within current constructor

What can I do to fix? It is BMS V1.1 that I am running.

I don't understand what the problem is, but that MUST be run from a
privileged account (not one with set priv, but with privs always on
by default). Then you problem goes away, or at least mine did.

	Susan,

Sorry, couldn't reply sooner. Thank you for your patience.

Have you seen this behavior again?
Have you got around this problem?
Have you tried other SET command?
Have you tried other SET command with by user and by password clauses?

If what's stated in .1 is true, then V11 dna4_am has a bug not handlilng
	access control information correctly.

What system is it that you're running on?

Are you still using v1.1? Have you tried v1.2 using the same
	command?

If the problem still persists, I like to reproduce it here with your
	help.

	Thank you.

	Jean
