With DECmcc V1.1 FCL, there are two ways to define an ALARM RULE: 1. CREATE MCC 0 ALARMS RULE myrule ... [,IN DOMAIN mydomain] 2. CREATE DOMAIN mydomain RULE myrule ... The first format shows an alarm rule which can be domain-independent. But unfortunately this rule can't be managed through the Iconic Map FM which is mainly domain-based. I am wondering about the usefulness of this alarm definition in a DECwindows IMPM context. Tell me if I misunderstood something... Jean-Luc
