1464.1 | future will bring Apple SNMP MIB | TOOK::NELSON | | Mon Sep 09 1991 17:43 | 11 |

Apple is working on a private SNMP MIB for management of its routers and
other things. We (the Strategic Vendor group) are working with them in
this effort.
When their MIB is finalized and DECMCC SNMP AM V1.1 ships, you will be
able to add the Apple MIB extensions to your SNMP MSL definitions and
manage Apple devices through DECmcc.

What do you mean with 'other things', PC's ?
Will they implement SNMP on Appletalk ?

Will the Apple SNMP agent really run over IP? I had heard that
they were moving to SNMP based management but that it would be
layered on top of Appletalk.
Is our SNMP access module capable of supporting an underlying
protocol other than IP?
