In Italy there is a potential partner whose name is Software Space Italy (SSI)
that is interested to cooperate ,in a joint-venture , with DEC in order to
develop Rule Based Knowledge Bases for Network Fault Analisys and Recovery
to be integrated in EMA as FMs.
The Italian Government funds projects like this if the project is considered
technologically advanced.
I would like to know if there is any Engeneering Group in DEC that is
developping (or will do it in the future ) fault management Functional
Modules based on AI technology (Rule Based Expert Systems) .
