1405.0. "%MCC-E-NOATTREXIST error" by AUNTB::BRILEY (Are you a rock or leaf in the wind) Tue Aug 27 1991 16:18

    When I issue the command:

    SHOW RECORD NODE4 RAN052 LINE SERIAL-1 PARTITION=COUNTERS, -
     IN DOMAIN=NISSC_MAP

    I get the following error message:

    The requested operation cannot be completed

    	Entity existence Info = Entity existence cannot be determined
            MCC Routine Error = %MCC-E-NOATTREXIST,
                                Specified record does not exist

    I get the same error message for the CHARACTERISTICS partition, but not
    for STATUS or IDENTIFIERS.

    This was working until mid-day today. I tried to delete and recreate some
    recordings, and this appears to be the result. I have also rebooted
    the system, but that did not help.

    Does anyone know what could be causing the problem?

    Thanks,

    Rob

1405.1Deregister node4 and register againTOOK::SHMUYLOVICHWed Aug 28 1991 09:4617
	RE: .0

   It looks to me as a corruption in the Historian private repository.
   Did you abort the Delete Recording or Record operations?
   What was a message from Delete Recording?

   Work around:
	1. DEREGISTER NODE4 RAN052;
	2. REGISTER NODE4 RAN052.

   All recording requests for this node4 and all its children will be
   missing so you need to recreate them using Record command.
   Historical data will be available.
