Hello, Is it possible to add a verb to a domain. I have domain X which consist of domains A, B and C. Domains A, B and C consist of several entities (different type entities). I want to add a verb in domain X, so I can see all the attributes of the entities which are in domains A, B and C. (Maybe it's not necessary to add a new verb.) Can anybody help me ?! Regards, Henk.

Yes, you can do it (that is how notification works, as well as a number of other modules). The thing to remember is that you must register with the registry any new verbs as well as your intended msl. Now as to, do you need a new directive. Well that depends upon what you are truely trying to do. If you only want to find out what is in the underlying domains, you can do a show domain <name> member * all ident and that will give you the information, IF the underlying domains are both dynamic domains. For more information on dynamic domains and their impact on directives please look into the DIR Use manual. jill |
