Hi, I have queries on exporter. I invoke the exporter as follows :- $submit/que=export mcc_exporter_background.com/para=sys$login:exp_mndv03.rdb $mana/ent export node4 mndv03 export target=sys$login:exp_mndv03.rdb, - _$ export period=00:15:00 The process has been running for about 4.5 hrs with 17 successful polls. However, 11 hrs since it started, the status was "suspended", number of successful polls = 34, number of failed polls = 10, last poll failure reason = "Failed to call ETP". The exporter background process was still running. I resume the exporting but it still return with the same fail poll reason. Can anyone explain what does this fail poll reason mean, especially what is ETP ? Where can I obtain explanation on fail poll reason ? Why the exporter goes into suspended state when I have not issue the suspend exporting command ? Thanks very much in advance. Eng Huat SPS, SINGAPORE CUSTOMER SERVICES.

"Failed to call ETP" means that
Show node4 <address of mndv03> ALL IDENTIFIERS does not return a
successful response. ETP = entity_to_poll.

Exporter FM V1.1 does not provide additional information for failed polls.
In V1.2 there will be an additional information for every polled partition.

If 10 consecutive polls fail the corresponding exporting
request is automatically suspended ( this will be changed in V1.2).
I would recommend to do Show ... ALL IDENT and you will be able to see
the reason why you can not resume this exporting request.
