COS is the Corporation for Open Systems, U.S., which has a "COS MARK" program. The COS Mark says that a given implementation "Conforms" to the standards. They have an X.25 tester, 802.3, FTAM, etc. SPAG is the Standards Performance Application Group, Europe, which is also involved in conformance testing. These two organizations are jointly involved in providing some OSI Management Conformance Testing. The tests are being developed and "might" be available in early 1992. If you want more specific information, try calling Cathy Summers, at COS (703-883-2801). Dorothy |
