What DECmcc version are you working with? DNA5 AM was included in the V1.0 and V1.1 kits. There have been many changes in the DNA5 architecture specifications over the past year and a half. I suspect the root problem is that the data dictionary of the MCC you are using does not match the DECwanrouter 100. wally | |||||

When you register an entity with name FOO and class X, if there is an entry in the DNS with name FOO but class Y (with Y different from X), this error (MCC-E-INCONSISTENTCLA) is returned by the DECmcc kernel DNS code. To acheive a sucessfull registration you need to deregister FOO with class Y, and the reregister FOO with class X. This explains why it worked ok with action in .-1 ... Jay |
