    I have a customer who is extremely interested in the functionality that
    will be provided with v1.1 of the SNMP AM - which I understand is due
    for release with MCCBMS v1.2.
    
    They are particularily interested in the type of reports they will be
    able to produce for CISCO routers (e.g. traffic, status, etc.).  
    
    I have two questions:
    
    Can anyone give me some insight as to what will be available?
    
    When will the SNMP AM v1.1 Internal Field Test kits be available?

    Some generic answers;
    
    My understanding is that V1.1 SNMP AM will be out sooner than DECmcc
    V1.2 will. This may help you.
    
    Like any other Global Entity Class, you can EXPORT all the attributes
    of SNMP entities and therefore report on them in any way that you want.
    
    I don't expect any truly usefull canned reports will DECmcc. I always
    consider the suppled reports to only be examples of how to do reports
    in general and serve as the basis for the customer's own reports.
    
    I don't know when the field test is. Someone else can hopefully say.

RE -.*   You are all right. It is my understanding that an async release of
access module will be out this month, and that it will be shipping 
independent of V1.2, though additional updates may occur with V1.2 
as well.

Historian and Export don't work with child entity identifiers that are
CONSTRUCTED.

This means the following child entities cannot be recorded/exported:

	NetToMediaTable (new - MIB II)
	ATTable
	ConnTable
	UDPTable (new - MIB II)

Any child entities of Vendor Specific MIBs with Constructed data type
identifiers suffer a similar fate.

I am so interested in see what can I do with DECmcc SNMP ACCESS
MODULE V1.1 talking about Cisco routers,

Last week we was working with a customer
who has cisco routers and he was worried about

how we can manage them....

I found in node wordy:: documentation about this access module

however I am not sure about the status of the kit

Could some one tell me if there is some EFT for V1.1

or when is going to be able?

I would appreciate any help.
