I tried to start Exporting on a VMS5.4-2 system, and had the following
strangeness show up. If you look at the end of the log, you can see that the
last entry has an error message of "Entity is not registered" AFTER two of
the five Circuits had already been correctly started exporting.
When this happened, the process went into "HIB" state, and after a while,
typing "^Y" caused the process to terminate. Not exactly nice....
Any explination on why the "Not Registered" error was returned?
A MCC> SHOW NODE4 LKGDR2 CIRC * ALL IDENTIFIERS returned the expected results
with no error.
A MCC> SHO EXPORT command also returned the first two circuits exporting
correctly.
I also noticed that the EXPORTER has ***LOTS*** of DECnet links to each
node that I am exporting information for. Is there a real reason that
it needs 15 different link to poll one node?
