Hello all I tried to produce some reports. And it doesn't work. I realy don't know RDB, CDD and all this stuff, so maybe I have done something wrong. When I look into the logfile I get the following message: . . . $define mcc$node1 "NAPPY" $define mcc$line1 "SVA-0" $define mcc$date1 "04-JUL-1991 16:00:00.00" $define mcc$date2 "04-JUL-1991 17:00:00.00" $define mcc$report_file "NAPPY_REPORT.RPT" $datatrieve VAX DATATRIEVE V5.1 Digital Query and Report System Type HELP for help :node4_line_traffic_rpt Element "NODE4_LINE_TRAFFIC_RPT" not found in dictionary. exit $exit SYSTEM job terminated at 4-JUL-1991 17:03:46.91 The Exporter is running well, I think. I have a RDB Database in mcc_common. I've done all exactly how it is written in the performance manual. If I do "DTR>show all" I see NODE4_LINE_TRAFFIC_RPT. Can somebody help me? Thanks Roland

1216.1 | Use Node address | TOOK::ANWARUDDIN | Anwar | Mon Jul 08 1991 13:59 | 3 |
In the case of Line & Circuit reports, when you are prompted for Node name please enter the Node address. This is a restriction and is documented in the release notes.

I tried it, but it doesnt work. I tried line traffic reports and node traffic reports, both with nodename and nodeaddresse, always the same message in the logfile. I will try to catch a SW speci from our SWSUPP, because I think there went somethin wrong in the setups. I have to install and setup an other EMS next week and I didn't want to run in the same problems. I will post the results here from my SW speci session. Regards Roland
1216.4 | It runs | RIGI::SCHNEIDERR | Tue Jul 09 1991 05:36 | 9
Hello, What a shame, sometimes you don't find the most easy faults. The problem was: We defined CDD$DEFAULT in the processtable and so the logical couldn't be seen from the batchprocess that does the reports. Roland |
