1180.1 | Where is System Center ? | MAIL::CLAYTON | Merlin Clayton DTN 445-7217 | Thu Jun 27 1991 17:39 | 16 |
| Jon,
Why isn't SCI on the strategic vendor list referred to in the original note?
I hope this isn't an indication that SCI is dropping out of the DECmcc
strategic program, and therefore, Digital is back to ground-zero for SNA
management capabilities.
Is there problems with the SCI/NETmaster/NETview DECmcc development program?
If so, could you please fill us in?
Thanks.

1180.2 | Cause it is Joint Development? | NSSG::R_SPENCE | Nets don't fail me now... | Mon Jul 01 1991 16:23 | 7 |
| I would guess that SCI isn't on the Stratigic Vendor list because
we have a joint development effort going with them. This is much
stronger than the agreements with the SVPs.
If this isn't the case, please correct me though.

1180.3 | Have a problem with the document | ADO75A::SHARPE | C is bliss? | Mon Jul 01 1991 22:54 | 22 |
| I get this error when I print the file:
%LPS-W-UNDEF, undefined: Name not known - offending command is ln03:resetpoints
-CPS-I-JOB_ID, for job VENDOR_LIST (queue ADO_EIS_POST, entry 663) on ADO_EIS_CP
S
After deleting these (ln03:resetpoints) from the file, I get the following:
%LPS-W-UNDEF, undefined: Name not known - offending command is ln03:defpoint
-CPS-I-JOB_ID, for job VENDOR_LIST (queue ADO_EIS_POST, entry 670) on ADO_EIS_CP
S
The offending command exists in the file as:
337 2604 p ln03:defpoint 33(544.88998pt,)
0 r ln03:defpoint 35(51.26999pt,)
What Can I do? Can you re-create the file for an ln03r?
Regards
Richard Sharpe

| Merlin,
SCI isn't on this list simply because we are not envolved with them.
The SCI is a joint dev deal between T&N Eng and SCI. For completeness it
should probably be listed in some fashion.
As a matter of fact the project with SCI just closed Phase 1 of the
pahse review process.

1180.13 | Fix to .ps version & note on .txt version. | TOOK::JSG | | Thu Mar 26 1992 17:44 | 19 |
|
I fixed the 12/19/91 .ps version of the Status Update. It took
a latex/postscript guru to fix it. Actually he didn't fix it we just
tried several of his environments until it worked right.
Also the .txt version prints out nicely if you do it in landscape mode.
Just to recap the files are:
TOOK::USER$43:[JSG.PUBLIC]
VENDOR_LIST.LN3;114
VENDOR_LIST.PS;6
VENDOR_LIST.TXT;5
