Has anyone any experience of managing a wide area network using
DEC WANrouter500 routers? Particularily, any ideas on managing X25
lines, producing performance stats and alarming on error threshold
exceeded.
Any inputs gratefully received.
Paul.

You could try Mike Condry at delni::m_condry
He managed 2 or 3 WANrouter 500s for the t-net.

As our local Easynet manager hasn't volunteered I am not going to put his name here for all the world to see. However, if you contact me by private mail I will tell you who he is (unless he gets to me first!). He has used the WANrouter and MCC so may be able to give you some useful information. Graham | |||||
