While doing a customer demo of MCC, the question came up "can you export reference data, so as to prepare reports on this information". Some of what they were looking for could be found in other fields such as node characteristics. However, it seems a logical extension of what we have give the customer so far......a database in which to keep all of their network info. It would seem to be a nice though perhaps infrequently used function to pull reference data. Has anyone else asked for this? Is it a valid thing to concider? Is the effort too great for the return? thanks, Al

Exporter FM writes into RDB database all attributes. So information you are asking for are already in the database. As far as I know the reports do not use this information but it can be obtained using, for example, SQL services. Sam | |||||
