| On VMS there is one process per user which contains the kernel and all
running MMs.
On Ultrix there is one PM process per user plus one MM (AM or FM)
process per UID. So one user invoking multiple PMs will get only
one copy of the FMs and AMs.

| Where is the kernel on ULTRIX?
Do we have one process per UID for the kernel?
Thanks

| The kernel does not exist by itself. It is a library included in the
link of each management module.
