Hello, We run intyo the following situation: If you install EMS (and his License), the hole BMS software will be installed. After everything is running fine. If you now try to install TCPIP AM, the installation stops and says that DECmcc is not installed. Now you have to load the BMS License (additional) to run the hole TCPIP AM installation !! Is this normal or a bug? Regards Roland

Users of DECmcc SMS or EMS V2.1 will find a solution to this problem in their SMS/EMS release notes. The TCPIP AM doesn't check for an SMS/EMS license upon installation, only the BMS license, as you've already discovered. Lisa |
