1056.0. "Reference attribute Datatypes supported ?" by TENERE::HAYES (A European Telecomet ...) Mon May 27 1991 14:04
Hello ,
DECmcc still have some mysteries.....
I have build a new development dictionary including both the Control_FM and the
Configuration_FM in order to be able to play with reference attributes.
Those modules are enrolled.
Then I have defined some reference attributes to "yourmm_am", one of type
Latin1string and one of the enumerated data-type.
The MSL is compiled, the DAP updated and the PTB is run.
My own-defined attribute of the enumerated data-type can not be set.
When I try to set the value, the following error message appears:
The requested operation cannot be completed
MCC Routine Error = %MCC-E-ILVSYNTAXERROR, data type of
ASN.1 value conflicts with type
supplied
What are the datatypes supported for reference attributes ?
Latin1String and FileSpec only ?
If not, where can I find the list of reference attributes supported ?
What have I done wrong???
Best regards
Catherine
