	For any readers of this conference who might be using DECmcc/VMS and 
	the SNMP access module, you should be aware of this problem.

	The DECmcc V1.1 system is not backward compatible with the DECmcc V1.0
	system.  This has caused problems when installing the SNMP AM V1.0
	over DECmcc V1.1 ( which is currently in SSB ).

	The problem relates to the mcc dictionary and parse tables, and its
	symptoms are visible when running OTHER management modules ( not SNMP ).
	TOOK::MCC note 755 describes the specifics, albeit in a random and
	disorderly fashion.

	A patch is provided in the DECmcc V1.1 kit and described in the 
	release notes.  This patch runs the DECmcc dictionary tool ( DAP ), 
	and subsequent building of the parse tables restores order.

	When installing the SNMP V1.0 AM over DECmcc V1.1, answer NO to the
	question of whether to rebuild the parse tables, then apply the
	patch as stated above.
