935.0. "SNMP AM side efe%MCCPTB-W-MODDEF, -DIRERR, -FATAL" by LLULL::SOLEPONT (Mother of all Networks...) Thu Apr 18 1991 10:24

After installing TCP/IP AM, I had the famous MCC-E-ILVTNF error (just like
in note:931.0). So I tried to follow the steps listed in Release Notes
"Section 6, Chapter 1.9". Then, while rebuilding DECmcc Parse Tables,
I get an MCCPTB-W-MODDEF error as well as -F-FATAL and -F-FAILED.

Thanks in advance for your sugestions. JAUME SOL.

935.1Make sure you did the Delete Class first...DANZO::CARRThu Apr 18 1991 15:279
	Please verify that you deleted the class/subclass before doing the
	creates. This is pretty clearly spelled out in the release notes.

	It's not clear from the log that you included that this was done.

935.2Yes, Dan, I did it!LLULL::SOLEPONTDECmcc...DECmc...DECE.Fri Apr 19 1991 04:314
	I extracted all Dictionary commands from the release notes.
	And running it again produces same results.

	Any help?

    What does MCC_SYSTEM translate to? ($ SHOW LOGICAL MCC_SYSTEM)

    Do a DIRECTORY (with size and date) of MCC_SYSTEM:*.DAT, and
    MCC_SYSTEM:*.BPT, there should be NO files in the SPECIFIC directory
    (whatever the MCC_SPECIFIC logical equates to).
