V1.1 SSB When in a map window below the global entity level (no icons), double-clicking on a class name displays all the instances of that class. If the class has no instances, a message window appears with "Map Window Message: This entity has no children". When the Acknowledge is clicked on that window, there is another right below it, with the same message. I've checked to make sure I wasn't issuing an extra click on the class name.

Are you getting to the next level down? That is, when you double click on the entity, is the contents of the map cleared ant the title bar contains the name of the parent entity? /Jim

re .2 No I just have a child entity (that also has child classes). However there is no instances created and double-clicking on the child class results in displaying the three consecutive error messages mentioned in .0 and .1 e.g., ------------------- |Entity-class ... | ------------------- represents the child entity class that does not have any existing instances, and double clicking on this results in the above mentioned exceptions. Phil Note: This child entity does not exist in DNS (only the global entity does)

RE: .2 Jim, some more info: Given the entity tree BranchLibrary (DYNAMIC = FALSE) Cartridge (DYNAMIC = TRUE) Side (DYNAMIC = TRUE) the sequence is: 1. Start up, get Icon for Branch instance in map window. 2. Double-click on the Branch icon, get work message "Looking into Branch..." 3. Map window now shows the list of class names that are children of Branch. 4. Double-click on the class Cartridge, get work message "Looking into Cartridge..." 5. If there are no instances of the Cartridge class, that is the SHOW Branch mumble Cartridge * issued by the IMPM returns common exception MCC_K_NO_SUCH_ENTITY, then the multiple windows are generated. |
