I'm trying to write a new AM with an event sink running in a separate VMS process. All the calls I do to mcc routines give me an access violation status at the virtual address 14. Also, the mcc_event_put gives me a MCC_S_KERNINITF status for the first call to this routine. Could somebody explain to me the reason of these problems ?

To do what you are doing you must follow the directions in the guide to writing a management module that explain how to link with callable MCC and how to initialize it. Just search the TOC for something along the lines of callable MCC and you should find the instructions you are looking for. jill |
