Hello, As I know is the difference between SMS and EMS only, that EMS has additional the NMCC/DECnetmonitor includet. Since the newest versions of this SW packages the DECmcc Director is also includet. If we have the DECmcc Director in EMS, what we use NMCC/DECnetmonitor for? If we run DECmcc, nearly all NMCC functions are included there. So why we sell EMS? Roland

DECmcc BMS V1.1 does have many of the features that are currently in
NMCC/DECnet Monitor, with the exception of histograms, for instance.
As DECmcc BMS V1.1 will be included in both DECmcc SMS and EMS V2.1,
you have a good question. Many of the NMCC/DM features are now part
of DECmcc BMS.
From my understanding, there will be additional packaging changes to
allow for greater differentiation. Maybe the product managers can be
more specific on HOW to sell Director, BMS, SMS, EMS, ... today.
