819.0. "Line Mode Help FIles Updated in SSBV1.1" by DUCAT2::64544::LICAUSE (Al Licause (338-5661)) Wed Mar 20 1991 13:32

I'v recently installed the SSB V1.1 kit and noticed that either the line
mode interface help files are not automatically updated, or the help file
seems to be incorrect?

ex: No reference to the GETEVENT command......it doesn't even know about it.

ex: The new syntax for SHOW RECORDING, SHOW what ever that was formerly
SHOW_... is still indicated as SHOW_.

Did I do something wrong or forget a step or not read something in the release
notes correctly ?

I just checked the SSB help and you are right the getevent directive did
not get added to the list of "FUNCTIONS" supported, though NOTIFY did. I
will see that this gets added immediately (before we forget).

As to the "SHOW RECORDING", the help librarian only takes single token
help keys (no white space). For this reason the topic key still has the
underscore but I just checked the text and it did use the space.

  SHOW_RECORDING

This service is used to show the recording parameters for an existing
    recording.

    Syntax:

        SHOW RECORDING <entity> PARTITION=<partition_name>, IN DOMAIN=<d_name>

    Additional information available:

    Defaults Examples Qualifiers REQUEST RESPONSE

If this isn't the text you are seeing for HELP FUNCTIONS SHOW_RECORDING then
for some reason you didn't get the new help file, which should be automatically
installed in sys$help for you.

Just looked and as you said the SHOW_ verbs do show in the help tree, but
when selecting same, the syntax is shown w/o the underbar.
