     Steve  Wong's  recent  re-registration   efforts   uncovered   several
     "illegal" directive-partition combinations allowed by Control FM.

     In the next VMS build and the next Ultrix  build,  the
     following  directive-partition  combinations  will be REMOVED from the
     CONTROL_FM vector table.  Please be sure that your vector  table  uses
     valid   verb-partition   combinations.    A   list  of  all currently
     valid public AM verb-partition combinations passed by Control FM is 
     included below.

     A new Control FM for DECmcc on VMS, built with the latest MCC_VEA_DEF and 
     correct vector table, will be available this afternoon, 20-Mar-1991 
     12:30 EST. It will have image ident X1.2-0 and its characteristics 
     display will have component version X1.2.0.  Please contact me at
     TOOK::KOHLS if you need a copy.
