Is anyone succesfully using the Iconic PM of MCC EFT 1.1 on a greyscale /GPX system ? On my system, the windows come up black on black. I've tried fiddling with the Icon colours on the Customise Map menu, and I can make the icons just about visible while they're not selected. As soon as I select one, it goes black again. Trevor

Edit the sys$login:mcc_resource file and specify windowBackground as white. Let me know if this works. BTW, how recent is your kit? Fred

The MCC_RESOURCE file already contained the line mcc_pml.map_windowBackground: white I added both: mcc_pml.windowBackground: white *windowBackground: white Which had no effect - it still came up black on black. The kit is dated 27-November. Here is the original resource file as MCC saved it: mcc_pml.map_nav_y: 1.000000 mcc_pml.map_windowBackground: white mcc_pml.map_backdropForeground: pink mcc_pml.gen_defDomain: .domains.test mcc_pml.gen_mapWin: 0 mcc_pml.map_x: 0 mcc_pml.map_y: 0 mcc_pml.map_width: 500 mcc_pml.map_height: 500 mcc_pml.map_navSize: 250 mcc_pml.em_x: 200 mcc_pml.em_y: 200 mcc_pml.em_width: 640 mcc_pml.em_height: 600 mcc_pml.map_iconForeground: Yellow mcc_pml.map_iconBackground: mcc_pml.map_lineColor: blue mcc_pml.map_alarmCritical: Red mcc_pml.map_alarmMajor: Orange mcc_pml.map_alarmMinor: Yellow mcc_pml.map_alarmWarning: Green mcc_pml.map_alarmClear: Blue mcc_pml.map_alarmIndetermine: Blue Violet mcc_pml.map_notification: 0 mcc_pml.map_operationMenu: 1 mcc_pml.map_navLoc: 0 mcc_pml.map_nav_x: 0.000000

I'd suggest getting a new kit. Also, if your up for it, I'd like to connect my MCC client to your server and see if we deal with the hardware correctly. Send mail to persue this off line. Fred |
