It would be great to have right now a list of the software that are mandatory in order to run DECmcc BMS 1.1. Obviously DECnet and DECdns are .But what's about RDB , Datatrieve, DECgraph ? Shall we say that the last two aren't 'software requirements' but that without them you'll not be able to use the Historian/Export FM ? A clarification on this subject would be more than welcomed. In the same area , if a customer want to have the DECmcc Director software , which license is free of charge with DECnet , does he need a special PAK , or does the DECnet PAK is enough ? Thanks by advance . MaRC

Surely the SPDs are the right place to get the most accurate information on dependent products? Colin

As the SPD for DECmcc BMS V1.1 is not yet available, the reply in .1 does not provide any clearification at all (for now). I have customers with the exact same question related to DECmcc BMS V1.1. Anybody else who would like to comment .0 ?? Thank's Sren

Yes, I agree with Soren. I too have customers, today infact, after seeing the EFT 1.1 demo, wanted to know the dependent s/w to utilize all the features of 1.1. This will help the customers to get the estimated budget they need to obtain. Raj SWS Singapore |
