589.1 | add to the previous | WOTVAX::PURNELLR | ...all this now ! | Fri Jan 04 1991 12:50 | 15 |
It is the External Field Test version 1.1 of the BMS, it is on a scratch VMS 5.4-1. It appears to have problems with Repository 8-11, whilst adding the alarm rule. The MCC_TDF logical is set to "00:00" I have tried the MCC_DAP_MAIN.EXE image, this clears the repositary errors. But the alarm still fails to add. I have not installed any tool kit yet.
589.2 | Try TDF value of -4:00 | WAKEME::ANIL | Mon Jan 07 1991 11:43 | 7
We used to have a bug arround TDF value of "00:00". This was fixed in V1.1 IFT time frame. Just to make sure can you please reinstall BMS with the MCC_TDF logical set to "-4:00" ? Thanks, - Anil Navkal
589.3 | check the mcc directories as well | GOSTE::CALLANDER | Mon Jan 07 1991 14:12 | 5
also check the protections you have on the "mcc_system" directories. the MIR should be created in the installation which should mean you have sufficient privleges unless you have some type of default ACLs that won't let you write to the newly created directory.
589.4 | Re-install BMS EFT V1.1 | WOTVAX::PURNELLR | ...all this now ! | Wed Jan 09 1991 09:38 | 8 |
I have re-installed the EFT of BMS V1.1 This time it has accepted the TDF of "00:00" and is now working. Cheers, Rex |
