Is there a way to notify the network manager if new stations (Ethernet/IEEE802.3), ours and other vendors, come onto the network that are not registered, through MCC. Right now the need for my customer is only ethernet but later on FDDI too. Any way to address this? Thanks Raj SWS Singapore

The (ETHERnim like) functionality you reference does not yet exist in DECmcc. Support for Bridge and Ethernet Station EVENTS (as in "New Station Discovered" or "New Bridge Discovered" ) is planned for a release *after* DECmcc V1.1. Chris Brienen |
