Hello, Has somebody seen this fault, I found? I created different domains. In one I have bridges. If I double click a bridge, I get the bridge window, with LINE and FOWARDING DATABASE in. Now I double click the line and I get LINE1 and LINE2. Now I do the forbidden thing: I double click LINE2. The message "Entity has no children" comes. Now I double click the LINE1 and ........ I get a message with "Software error" in and the process hangs, I have to kill it. I know, that is not the fine or in other words the right way, but the process reacts realy agressiv and hands up. Could that be a bug???? regards Roland

This is not the expected behavior behavior. You should have gotten another message sayin that the entity doesn't have any children. What does the rest of the message say? /Jim | |||||

The message reads something like: "Internal Software Error has occurred in the Iconic Map PM" For us, it redrew the message when "Acknowleged" (and eventually ACCVIO'd). Maybe the note name should change? Chris | |||||

If I try to double click the line, the first time the message comes: Map Window Message: This entity has no children I acknowledge this message and double click the other line: And now the message comes: Map Window Message: Software error: An internal error has occured in the Iconic Map PM If I want acknowledge the message, the same one is redrawed. In the terminal Window, I startet MCC ($ manage/enter/inter=decw) The following message is seen: % SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO, access violation, reason mask=01, virtual address=23FC0000, PC=000E8ABC, PSL=03C00000 ( I tried it tree times and I get allways the same PC and PSL) I can aboard MCC with CTRL Y . Ooops, A bug in the V1.1 EFT software causes an acc-vio (or other unexpected behavior) when an entity class which has no child entities is double click on more than once. The only work-around for now is not to double click twice on the child- less entity class. Verna | |||||
