I get an error when trying to register a NODE4 with a none default IDP. I did set up the DNS dna_backtranslation directories for IDI 49:: and 41:45912619 (dna_backtranslation.%x49... and dna_backtranslation.%4145912619...). When having the MCC logical MCC_NODE_IDP assigned to 41:45912619 and trying to register a NODE4, I get the MCC error INVPARAM, invalid parameter. Every thing works fine when running with the default IDP. Walter

525.1 | MCC's IDP processing feature? | TOOK::KWAK | Thu Dec 20 1990 13:04 | 14 | |
The current version of MCC has a problem in building IDP when an IDP's IDI's (initial domain identifier) digit stored in the most significant nibble of a byte is greater than or equal to 8. In your case, for example, the third digit (9) of IDI field is not processed properly in the current MCC. However, if you use any number from 0 to 7 for the third digit (e.g. 41:45612619 using 6), you'll have no problem in registering a node4. This problem has been corrected and the next MCC release will contain the corrections. William |
