The purpose of this note is to document the following info. that somehow didn't get into the DECmcc V1.1 EFT Release notes. It concerns users of the DECmcc V1.1 IFT Reports package. "The DECmcc V1.1 EFT Reports package will not process data that was exported to an RDB with the V1.1 IFT version of Exporter. This is due to a change in the names of the Statistics Partition and some of the entity attributes in the EFT version." What this means is that you cannot generate reports on data exported under DECmcc V1.1 IFT with the DECmcc V1.1 EFT version of the Reports package. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you.

We have a RDO command file that changes the field names in the RDB created using DECmcc V1.1 IFT Exporter. Please see note 504. The command file (FIX_RDB.RDO) is in TOOK::USER$49:[PA.NOTE] After you run this command file using RDO, your database can be used with the EFT version of Reports. Here are the steps to fix your database. $ MCR RDO RDO> @fix_rdb.rdo $ You need to edit this file before executing it. There are three `invoke' commands that need the name of your database. Please edit the invoke commands and execute the command file, as shown above. |
