447.0. "It won't work..." by AKOV11::COLLINS () Wed Oct 31 1990 09:26
Ok. I've installed MCC, and I had no problems. It passed IVP.
I have a personal namespace for DNS. I ran option 1 and 2 of the
MMCC_DNS_SETUP.COM, which produced all those com files.
I also ran MCC_NODE4_LOAD.COM. After I ran that load com, I did the command
SHOW NODE4 0 REMOTE NODE * which is suppose to list all the nodes that the
node4_am knows. Well it did the firt time, but if I run it again I get the
following error.
Internal error in DECnet Phase IV AM.
VMS Error = %SYSTEM-F-ACCVIo, access violation,
reason mask=!XB, virtual address=!XL,
PC=!XL, PSL=!XL
What have I forgotten something?
Is there something somewhere that will take you throught all the steps needed to
get this going. I've read the release note, install manuals, use manuals, and
Phase IV users manuale.
I'm at a lose.
