After skimming through the DECmcc V1.1 IFT release notes, I
noticed that the SNMP Access Module is mentioned as not being
supported by the ICONIC MAP PM. What I need is to be able to
do is to have by TCP/IP nodes displayed on the network map
alongside Phase IV nodes, Phase V nodes, Bridges etcetc. Does
anyone know exactly when SNMP AM support will be added to the
ICONIC map PM ?

It is supported by the Iconic map right now. I will be posting a note about a demo package that is available to anybody to copy across the net. Included in the demo pkg is a few fixed programs. Bottom line is that if you have the kit pointed to in note 3.25 and you copy/install the up coming demo kit, you'll be able to put SNMP entities on your map. JCE | |||||
