Greeting, I would like to find out if it's possible to have DECmcc-EMS running on a DESKTOP/VMS platform and is there any restriction of the package when running on such a platform. This question coming from one of our customer who is running the package on a VAXstation VMS V5.3. Thank you for any recommendationa or pointer. Thien Doan EIS/Network Consulting Group.

Thien A few notes back John Egolf stated the recommended hardware. This is the minimum configuration (3100) that we are stated as supporting. I suggest you get the information from his noe. As for pure interest, I run on a vaxstation with V5.3 all the time, but I am developing/not managing a network. Personally with windows coming in V1.1 anything less than the recommended 3100 won't do the iconic map justice (performance wise). |
