| At DECworld, we demoed having an icon turning red when an alarm fired.
That was something quick that was set up for demoing purposes. I don't
know if that was disabled for the x1.1.0 release. Fred?
Anyway, the notification support is still in the process of being added
to the Iconic Map PM, and will be available starting with the V1.1 EFT
release which won't happen for another few weeks.

The Demoware was not packaged with the kit. Therefore a rule firing cannot
cause an icon salience change.

when you were in DECville what you saw was a special program
developped for demo purpose , waiting for the real Notification
services stuff ,that's why you don't have it in this
kit .

| Thanks for the clarification.
I wasn't aware of this. I've got a demo copy from J.C.Egolf, which is the
one shown on the 10 min. video. It does turn the icon red, but now it has
stopped working. I thought this had something to do with BMS, because
it stopped working after I got some problems with a domain loosing
information about it's members. More on this case in another note.
WHen is the notifcation service available ?

| Notification services will be available with the V1.1 EFT kit. I don't
have the exact dates with me, but it'll be sometime in the late
November timeframe.
