I finally got around to installing the 1.1 kit. I had a problem during the BMS IVP. Here's the output. DECmcc (X1.1.0) %MCC-E-NOTFOUND, unsupported combination of verb, entity, partition The following command failed. "MANAGE/ENTERPRISE TEST MCC 0 EXPORTER_FM, TO FILE = MCCBMS$OUT.TXT" DECmcc BMS X1.0.1 Installation Failed

399.1 | Exporter not enrolled | MAVIC::D_MOORE | Wed Oct 10 1990 14:11 | 9
The "%MCC-E-NOTFOUND, unsupported combination of verb, entity, partition" message means, in this case, that the Exporter is not enrolled. This may have been because something went wrong earlier in the installation and the MM's didn't get enrolled. I suspect that the Exporter is not the only thing which is not enrolled. Go back through the log and see if anything went wrong. Also, make sure that you have no one else accessing files during the installation. I had similar problems once. Reinstalling in a cleaner environment did the trick.
399.2 | Do you have the latest licenses installed? | TOOK::GUERTIN | Wherever you go, there you are. | Wed Oct 10 1990 15:00 | 5 |
That happened to me when I did not have the BMS2 licenses installed. The output file (MCCBMS$OUT.TXT) should tell you what went wrong, if you can find it. -Matt.
399.3 | all is well, thanks | DSTEG1::HUGHES | Thu Oct 11 1990 10:24 | 9
I forgot to install the new licenses before the installation. After the installation finished, I installed the licenses and reran the IVP. This is when I reported the error. I restarted MCC and then ran the IVP. All is well, thanks for the help. Linda |
