FYI , during DECville 90 we just tried to display DECmcc on the VT1300 (X Window Color VT ) . The result was great , very fast !!!! Regards . MaRc

Re: .1 Fred, when we tried it out, we simply used the "$ SET DISPLAY/CREATE/NODE=xxxxx" where node was the nodename assigned to the VT1300, then fired off DECmcc with the Iconic Map PM on the VAX where DECmcc was installed. Response times (particularly when displaying US / Europe maps) were far superior to displaying directly on the station, though I must admit we did the test during lunchtime when there were not too many customers / demoers around ! �hR. |
