287.0. "AT preposition in Alarm doc." by GSFMCC::SYSTEM () Tue Aug 28 1990 10:06

Greeting,

I am testing the Alarms Module with the T1.0.1 version and would like to
know if the AT preposition REQUIRED the = sign before the time value
since I have tried without the = sign and it worked fine.

In the doc, page 3-12, ( Alarm User's Guide ) said it's required but
on the example on the next page said it doesn't. Please clarify.

	Thanks.

I'm looking at the parse table right now. It's optional. Submit
a QAR against the doc or help text so we can make everything agree.

Hi again,

Thanks for the quick reply, I have another question regarding the
	AT START preposition,

What is the required privilege(s) for a process to access the time table
so that it can schedule the start time. ??? Thanks

Thanks.

This message means you can't access MCC$SYSTEM:MCC_DISPATCH_TABLE.DAT

It has nothing to do with the AT clause.

-< AT preposition in Alarm doc. >-

As Jim says, the `=' is optional.

Pages 3-12,13 in the Alarms manual does not present the syntax of time; it
just gives examples. Alarms uses exactly the same syntax as the FCL in order
to be consistent. Syntax is usually shown in the manual set with special
  notation (e.g., {,},[,],etc.).

Please refer to the MCC Use Manual for the exact syntax of time.
