During NETU oct '89, the following release schedule regarding DECmcc
was presented :
jan 1990 : SMS/EMS V1.0
oct 1990 : " V2.0 : includes DECmcc V1.0 products, TSM superseded
oct 1991 : " V3.0 : " " V2.0, RBMS, Ethernim
superseded
oct 1992 : " V4.0 : " " V3.0, LTM superseded.
Is this still valid?
What I am trying to find out is : When will we have a full blown DECmcc
that provides the same functionality as the current network management
product set (ethernim,rbms,tsm,nmcc) , with the added value of having
one central database (the MIR) and a DECwindows graphics interface for
proper configuration management (maps etc)?

answered in an open conference.
(Real) DECmcc product announcements have yet to be made public.
