Stephanie Donaghy (DELNI::DONAGHY).
The Digital Management Control Center (DECmcc) is a comprehensive,
extendable system of integrated software that can monitor, test, and control
entities in a network. DECmcc can manage networks extending in complexity
from small, homogeneous, and local-area to enterprise-wide, multivendor, and
distributed.
DECmcc is designed to provide a broad range of network management functions
that operate on a virtually unlimited variety of entities. Software developed
for DECmcc will relate to the Open Systems Interconnect management areas
(Configuration, Fault, Performance, Security, and Accounting) and the network
life cycle (Design, Evolution, and Operation).
William Johnson, VP of Distributed Systems, has said, "Digital's
enterprise-wide management solution provides users with the necessary elements
to address the real management issues facing major corporations today --
and in the future."

60.1 | Pointers to Open House Docs | BSYBEE::EGOLF | John C. Egolf LKG2-2/T02 x226-7874 | Wed Feb 28 1990 15:43 | 17 |
| Several people asked me for additonal copies of the handout we
had for the open house. I'm posting a pointer to the handout,
the posters we had over each workstation, the script we used as
a guide for the DECmcc V1.0 demo and the layout of the room for
those people who were unable to make it to the open house.
I'd like to thank all those who were able to make it. We
appreciated the feedback we've received from everybody.
