    Brief Description of Problem:

    Kevin is trying to link Sybase libraries on Alpha and link fails because
    libsys5.so library is not available on Digital UNIX.

    Answer: He need to install System V environment on his system in order to
    get sysv libraries. This environment does not get installed by default.
    One has to install it explicitly after initial full installation is done.
    ( Nice Gotcha for customers !!! I think there is plan to include sys v 
    environment to OS by default...but not sure when).

    For UNIX V3.2X,  SVE is shipped on Complementary products CDROM.
    For UNIX V4.0, SVE is shipped on the Associated Products CDROM, Volume 2 .
    The SVE may also require additional license to use it.
