Shawn,

What does your display look like now? Are you in the SRM console? There is a
os_type parameter you need to change to NT a(via set os_type NT ) and power
cycle to boot back to the NT ARC console.

Subj:	Installing Digital UNIX

We are trying to do a full install of Digital UNIX on an AlphaServer
1000A 5/333 (it was originaly running NT 4.0).

During our first attempt at installation, we got a kernel read error.
We suspected that we'd mistakenly no installed the ECU properly.
However, now we cannot get back to the graphical boot display inorder
to install the ECU.  How can we get back on track from just the
character interface?
