Subj: Regarding OPEN3D and PHIGS
Hi,
We have DEC3000/400 workstation and we are upgrading our operating system
to 4.0B, please tell us whether the existing hardware support the latest
operating system. The existing hardware works fine with DEC/OSF1 v3.0 os.
The graphics card that we have here is PMAG-DA which is PXG series.
We would like to know what are the issue with this hardware when we
migrate to digital unix 4.0B.

The PXG graphics cards are not supported on Digital UNIX v4.0 and up, since
support for these graphics cards has been retired. Open3D v2.6 is the last
version of Open3D to contain support for PXG cards. The v2.6 kit is
supported on Digital UNIX v3.0 through v3.2.
