Subj:	RE: Request for an OpenVMS PAK Script

Greetings!

This message is to acknowledge the email request you sent to the ASAP
developer's support address re: a PAK script for OpenVMS Alpha. I did a
quick check on the serial number you supplied in your mail message as well
as a search against "Beilstein" and "Beilstein Information". I did find
several "seed systems", but none matched on the serial number you supplied.
If this machine is a "Seed Unit", please verify the system serial number
and I'll try again.

Please be advised that the "Alpha Seed Program" office is conducting a
physical inventory and sent a request to all partners with "seed systems"
some time back to verify the location of the systems and to provide an email
address where the new PAK scripts should be sent. If you have questions re:
the status of the system(s) in question, you might contact your ASAP business
relationship manager or contact the Program Manager, Connie Davis, at (508)
467-3604, cheers...

3517.2It is a loaner, but never heard of Seed Program...AMCUCS::SWIERKOWSKIQuot homines tot sententiaeTue Apr 22 1997 14:20167
Greetings!

Got the following message forwarded to me this morning from the customer.
He states it is a "loaner" but doesn't know anything about the Seed Program.
He says he has a set of paper PAK's (presumbly the ASAP PAK's sent out to
developers who order the SDK), but wants a script to invoke. I'm going to
ask Mark about this one, since without a valid seed serial number I'm not going
to mail him the "Seed PAK" script...

Tony,

I am a little surprised, because I have sent the same request for the last
PAK list and I have got the script without any problems. The previous PAK
list script has been requested on December 19th, 1996. I do not know
anything about an Alpha Seed Program, but I can tell you that it is a
loaned machine. The PAK list has been send already on paper, but it is a 30
page document, which I can hardly enter one by one. However, there is
number on this document, which is AV-PV1BW-TE. Hope this helps.

Regards,

Juergen Swienty-Busch.

Subj:	Partner request for a PAK script...

Greetings!

My name is Tony Swiekrowski and I'm an engineer in the SPE group who supports
the ASAP program part-time. Per mail from Mark Schafer (ASAP support in MRO),
he suggested that I forward requests for new PAK's from partners to you. If
this is true, please find a note below I opened in the ASAP support conference
detailing a request for new PAK's I got yesterday. FWIW, I did a quick check
of the serial number using the "SEED_LOOKUP" account on CSSE and the serial
number did *not* check out. I advised the customer to verify his system serial
number and all I got back was another message indicating that the system was a
"loaner" but he had not heard of the "Seed Program". He also stated that he
had a set of paper PAK's, but wanted a script he could invoke. Per Mark Schafer
ASAP members who purchase the ASAP SDK do not get a set of paper PAK's, but
instead get emailed a script/procedure when the SDK is shipped out. Assuming
you're the right person to resolve this, please let me know if you need any
additional information, cheers...
